Coordination of Benefits Agreement (COBA)
To receive claims electronically, secondary payers must execute a Coordination of Benefits Agreement (COBA) with CMS to ensure conformity to Medicare's processing requirements. Even after negotiations are finalized and the Agreement is signed, EDI testing can take months to complete.

Bypass complex negotiations and involved EDI testing with the COBC. With a single data link to Medicare Crossover Clearinghouse, you automatically have access to every Part A Fiscal Intermediary and Part B Carrier. You just tell us which contractors you need connections to — we'll take care of the rest.
